Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SKUvio (“the app”, “the Service”), an application that synchronises product, inventory, and order data between Etsy and Shopify. By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
1. The Service
SKUvio connects a merchant’s Shopify store with one or more Etsy shops and keeps catalogue, inventory, and order data in sync, including optional AI-assisted listing tags and translations. Features, plan limits, and availability may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must have a valid Shopify store and, where you connect one, a valid Etsy shop, and comply with the terms of those platforms. You are responsible for the credentials and connections you authorise, and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights;
- violate Shopify’s or Etsy’s API terms, rate limits, or policies through your use of the app;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure;
- use the Service to transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
4. Fees & billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify’s billing system according to the plan you select; charges appear on your Shopify invoice. Plan tiers, included usage, and any usage-based overages are described on the app’s pricing page and in the Shopify App Store listing. Billing follows the cycle of the plan you select (monthly or annual) as shown at checkout. Fees already billed are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law. You can change or cancel your plan, or uninstall the app, at any time via your Shopify admin; uninstalling stops future charges in line with Shopify’s billing rules.
5. Data & privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. With respect to buyer personal data processed through your store, you are the data controller and we act as your data processor, under your instructions and the Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party platforms
The Service depends on third-party platforms and services (including Shopify, Etsy, and our sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy). We are not responsible for those platforms’ availability, changes, or actions. Your use of Shopify and Etsy remains governed by their own terms.
7. Availability & support
We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance, and platform dependencies (e.g. API quotas or outages at Shopify/Etsy) can affect synchronisation. For support, contact support@skuvio.app.
8. Warranties & liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including, where relevant, mandatory consumer-protection rights).
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to the Service, other users, or third parties. On termination, data deletion follows the timelines in the Privacy Policy (including the mandatory data-deletion webhooks and the retention periods we are legally required to honour).
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the “last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated to merchants, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to the mandatory provisions applicable in your country of residence where you are a consumer.
